"Vegetarian" - Maui Public Access TV Show (Updated 1/3/13)
The Vegetarian Society of Hawaii (VSH) presents "Vegetarian", a bi-weekly one hour Public Access TV program on Maui's Calabash Cable Channel 52. Timing is variable with regard to both starting times
and program length, so if you have a VCR, your best bet is to set
the timer for recording on alternate Tuesdays from 5:55 PM to 7:05
PM. Although the videos are in digital format, it's also
advisable to record in short play (SP) two-hour mode to avoid signal
deterioration. It's hard to know for sure which tape is playing
when, and since VSH has none of them available for sale, the only
way you can get the ones you may want to keep is to record all of
them, and tape over the ones you don't want later. Akaku plays each
tape four times within a month, and the next one four times in the
following month. ********** "Building a Business Based on a Vegetarian Mission" Mark Fergusson, CPA 58:05 "Getting Started-Lite" William Harris, M.D. 58:06 "Confessions of a Low Class Vegan" Karl Seff, Ph.D. 58:12 "The Diet Wars:The Time for Unification Is Now" John McDougall, M.D. 58:05 "Saving the World One Animal at a Time" Laurelee Blanchard, B.B.A. 58:01 "There's No Such Thing as a Free Lunch" John Cadman 58:06 *********** Akaku also has a play on demand system at: Kaua'i's Ho'ike Cable Channel KCTV 52, Tuesdays and Wednesdays variable times (check schedule on those days) www.hoike.org/ Big Island's Na Leo 'O Hawai'i on Cable Channel 54, Saturdays 2-3 PM.
